bonus systemBuilding a fair, functional bonus system that motivates the employees and does not cost the dentist an arm and a leg is one of the toughest things to do.  The two components of a successful bonus system are Structure and Discipline.

Let's talk about the structure.  Our bonus systems are performance-based as any successful bonus system should be.  Some bonus systems are tied into revenues, or collections or net profits.  Systems that tie an employee's bonus to the dental practices' revenues, collections or profits are doomed for failure. 

Some bonus systems reward employees for their individual performance.  These systems are also doomed for failure because they don't promote team work and co-operation. 

Our bonus system gives employees the tools to control their destiny, reward individual effort and team work and mitigate embezzlement and other losses by the employees.
